About our laboratory

Tohoku University medical physics program started in 2011 with two departments (Radiation Oncology and Radiation therapy). At present (2015), our medical physics group consist of three faculty members, five master course students and five Ph.D. course students. Although only four years have passed since our group started, our medical physics group is rapidly growing. Our university is equipped with a state-of-the-art facility and is developing the cutting-edge technologies for radiotherapy.
